@@FinalCrashSoR3 yep 1st april prototype. Had him and one rocket in 3 punches back attack loop at the edge of the screen, but I did one punch a bit too late and he started to rise up and I couldn't continue the loop. Unfortunately, I only had one life when I came to it, so my fight with it didn't last long. btw, with this loop I took away 2 health bars from him, which has never happened to me before, even in the final version. btw2, to catch it in this loop the jet must be facing the edge of the screen but it's almost impossible to catch him with rocket together :(

I don't even think any of the music from the first game is from the 16-bit version, which I'm sure is what people actually wanted. Alongside bringing further disappointment, It probably made things harder to find fitting tracks when the SoR3 music is gone entirely. I already considered it a failure just for announcing only having music from 1 and 2, nothing from 3.

Yes, he is not the power character, but the range character. Doesn't really feel like Max to me.

Try to get good at parrying, learn how to deal with each kind of enemy, know what your character is good at, how to avoid enemies, etc.

​@@user-kf9qc5vh2z Ricardo is easy to use and quite powerful, but he cannot run like the other two characters can. He may have some trouble catching certain enemies due to his lack of speed. Parrying instantly recharges your SP gauge, which lets you do your Special Attack without losing health, so you could get a free special each time you parry. You can keep using this to make use of Ricardo's long-range special attack and loop/counter certain enemies. As for some Ricardo combos: 1. Punch -> Punch -> Forward Throw -> Dash (repeat) 2. Dash -> quickly Rising Attack (in Ricardo's case, an uppercut) -> Special Attack (repeat)

Maybe you didn't earn enough stars from points? Every 40,000 points without dying gives the running attack an upgrade, and you can tell by how many stars there are on the HUD (up to three).

Did you play 30th anniversary mode with standard continues?

You earn stars by earning points without dying (for that move, you need 2-3 stars). Or, if you're using a 6-button control scheme: Level 2 Blitz - X, Forward, Down Level 3 Blitz - X, Up, Forward, Back X is the button that allows you to perform these inputs you'd normally need to earn stars for, will vary by platform.

Even more so in the USA version which is more unbalanced. @@FinalCrashSoR3 Will be very interesting to watch. Because, let's face it, jap version is way too easy. Very Hard is pretty casual, compared to Hard in the US one. The real challenge would be to do it with it.
